The word "tour" in French has different meanings. "La tour" means tower, the most famous one being "La Tour Eiffel" in Paris. In English we use the word "tour" in the same context then the French "Le tour", a tour of the school, a tour at the museum or the world renowned bike race "Le tour de France". "Le tour" also means"turn". When playing a game we say: "C'est mon tour" (It's my turn) "C'est ton tour" (It's your turn).
