Next term, our theme in French class will be based on the cycling event “Le Tour de France”. The Tour will serve as a backdrop to explore different regions of France, food, geography and transport and we will stage a “Tour de France” skit.
The Tour de France is during the school holidays from 4 - 27 July.
It would be wonderful if your family would be able to follow some of the Tour events as this would be great exposure, not only to the sport but also to French culture and landscapes, and a great preparation for our French project.
You can easily access coverage of the Tour across different media. SBS has the most comprehensive coverage in Australia, with range videos, articles, links and daily recaps of Tour highlights.
