Set up the speech function on your iPad
- Go to setting on your iPad (Grey Cog)
- Select “General”
- Select “Accessibility”
- Select “Speech”
- Switch on “Speak Selection”
- Drag the speaking rate towards the turtle symbol
- Go back to main screen
Second Step
Listen to the French pronunciation
Open up your “Notes” app
- Switch your keyboard to French
- Type “Je m’appelle Harry” (you can type your name)
- Highlight the sentence
- Click on “Speak” (Français)
- Listen to the sentence
- If it’s spoken too quickly, go back to First Step and change the "speaking rate" (Step 5)
